Tidying Up with Marie Kondo: Angron Edition

Title: Tidying Up with Marie Kondo: Angron Edition

EXT. ANGRON’S FORTRESS - NIGHT

The episode opens with a wide shot of Angron’s fortress—dark, foreboding, and littered with the remains of weapons, armor, and debris from countless battles. The skies are stormy, and distant howls of battle echo through the air. The atmosphere is heavy with rage and chaos.

MARIE KONDO, perfectly serene and dressed in her signature pastel cardigan, approaches the imposing fortress with her usual calm demeanor. The juxtaposition of her peaceful presence with the carnage is almost comical.

MARIE KONDO
(voiceover, smiling)
Today, we are visiting Angron, Primarch of the World Eaters. His home reflects his warrior spirit, but we are here to help him find peace in his space and keep only what sparks joy.

INT. ANGRON’S FORTRESS - MAIN HALL

The inside of Angron’s fortress is even more chaotic. Piles of broken weapons, shredded banners, and skulls from battles long past are strewn across the floor. Angron sits on a throne made of bone, wearing his blood-red armor, his eyes blazing with fury. His massive chainaxe, Gorefather, rests beside him.

Marie Kondo steps carefully over discarded armor and skulls as she approaches Angron. Her smile never falters.

ANGRON
(glaring, growling)
What... are you?

MARIE KONDO
(gently)
I’m here to help you tidy up, Angron-san. Together, we will find the things that bring you joy, and let go of the rest.

Angron stares at her, baffled, before letting out a short, guttural laugh.

ANGRON
(snarling)
Nothing brings me joy, woman. Only blood and war.

MARIE KONDO
(nods serenely)
Then let us begin by finding what no longer serves you.

INT. ANGRON’S ARMORY - LATER

Marie and Angron stand before a mountain of broken weapons, shields, and armor pieces. The armory is a mess of twisted metal and debris. Angron looks unimpressed, his arms crossed, while Marie examines the chaos with her usual composed expression.

MARIE KONDO
(smiling)
Let’s start by gathering everything into one place. We’ll take each piece, and you’ll decide if it sparks joy for you.

ANGRON
(growling)
This is all I need. Why would I care if it sparks joy? I’ve used these to kill thousands!

Marie gently picks up a rusted sword, examining it with curiosity before holding it out to Angron.

MARIE KONDO
Does this sword bring you joy?

Angron grabs the sword, looking at it with disgust.

ANGRON
No. This blade failed me in battle. It’s weak.

Marie gives him a small, encouraging smile.

MARIE KONDO
Then we thank it for its service, and let it go.

ANGRON
(snarling)
What?

Marie places the sword gently in a pile of discarded items, demonstrating the "letting go" gesture.

MARIE KONDO
We must show gratitude for the items we part with. They served you in battle, but they no longer bring value to your life.

Angron looks at her in disbelief but grunts, grabbing a dented helmet from the pile.

ANGRON
(thrusting the helmet out)
This... this is worthless.

MARIE KONDO
(nods)
Then we thank it.

Angron stares at the helmet for a moment, then grumbles under his breath.

ANGRON
(begrudgingly)
...Thank you.

He tosses it into the discard pile.

INT. ANGRON’S WAR ROOM - DAY

Marie and Angron now stand in his War Room, where scattered battle plans, bloodied trophies, and broken relics are displayed across the walls and floor. Marie looks at Angron’s rage-filled war banners, which hang haphazardly.

MARIE KONDO
(smiling warmly)
It’s important to surround yourself with things that truly speak to your heart.

She delicately gestures to a pile of bloodstained banners.

MARIE KONDO
Does this bring you joy?

Angron snarls, grabbing a torn World Eaters banner. His knuckles whiten as he grips it.

ANGRON
This... is a symbol of my Legion. It brings me the only satisfaction I know.

Marie nods approvingly.

MARIE KONDO
Then it stays. But perhaps we can display it in a way that honors it more.

She folds the banner with care and hands it to Angron. His fiery gaze softens ever so slightly.

INT. ANGRON’S CHAMBER - NIGHT

The camera shows a montage of Marie guiding Angron through tidying his fortress. He begrudgingly sorts through weapons, skulls, and trophies.

Marie folds Angron’s ragged banners, showing him how to properly store them. She teaches him how to organize his trophies of war and place them where they are more visible and meaningful, rather than strewn across the room.

  • MARIE helps Angron create a small meditation corner (which is just a pile of rocks where he can brood more effectively).

  • ANGRON organizes his collection of Chainaxes, placing them neatly on a wall instead of leaving them scattered.

INT. ANGRON’S FORTRESS - FINAL REVEAL

The fortress is transformed. It still radiates the raw, brutal energy of Angron, but now everything is organized and purposeful. The weapons are lined up neatly along the walls, the banners hung with pride, and the skulls placed on displays, rather than being kicked around like debris.

Angron stands in the center of his newly tidied home, arms crossed, looking around with a mixture of confusion and reluctant approval.

MARIE KONDO
(smiling brightly)
How do you feel, Angron-san?

ANGRON
(quietly)
It... is better. But this is still pointless.

Marie looks at him gently, nodding as if she understands.

MARIE KONDO
Sometimes, tidying our space can help us clear our mind. Even warriors deserve peace.

Angron looks down at her, his rage seemingly tempered for the moment.

ANGRON
(grumbling)
Perhaps.

Marie gives him a final, serene smile.

MARIE KONDO
(sweetly)
Thank you for letting me help you.

ANGRON
(nods, muttering)
...Thank you.

EXT. ANGRON’S FORTRESS - NIGHT

Marie walks away from the fortress, her expression serene as ever, while Angron watches her from the shadows of his citadel. In the distance, the storm clouds clear just a little.

MARIE KONDO
(voiceover)
Even the most powerful warriors can find joy in tidying. Angron’s home is now a reflection of his strength... and his heart.

FADE OUT.

END.
