The Bachelorette: Alia Atreides Edition — Primarch Crossover

Episode 1: The Arrival The sequel to Rogal Dorn's season kicks off with a grand twist — Alia Atreides, sister of Paul, has taken center stage as the Bachelorette. The enigmatic Alia, both Bene Gesserit-trained and imbued with the prescient powers of the Kwisatz Haderach, stands before a sprawling mansion in the heart of the desert on Arrakis. Sandstorms swirl in the distance, a sign of the unpredictable journey ahead.

In front of her are the suitors: the Primarchs of the Imperium, each a god-like warrior and leader in their own right. As Alia sizes them up, she knows her choice will not only determine a love match but may alter the course of the galaxy itself.

The contestants arrive:

  • Horus Lupercal: The charismatic and charming Primarch of the Luna Wolves. His confidence is palpable, but Alia senses something darker within him. His ambition intrigues her, but she knows that with Horus, there is always a power play.

  • Roboute Guilliman: The Ultramarines' disciplined and measured leader. He represents stability and order, but Alia wonders if his rigid sense of duty might clash with her chaotic nature.

  • Lorgar Aurelian: The spiritual and mysterious leader of the Word Bearers. His obsession with prophecy resonates with Alia, but there’s a zealotry in him that makes her wary.

  • Magnus the Red: The psychic powerhouse of the Thousand Sons. Magnus and Alia share a connection in their supernatural abilities, but his tragic history with his powers might make him too dangerous.

  • Fulgrim: The flamboyant and perfection-obsessed leader of the Emperor’s Children. Fulgrim arrives with a confident smile and compliments for Alia, but she can sense the vanity lurking beneath his beautiful facade.

  • Konrad Curze: The dark and brooding Night Haunter. Alia senses his tortured soul and feels a strange pull toward him. He may be dangerous, but there's an understanding between them about destiny and darkness.

  • Sanguinius: The angelic Primarch of the Blood Angels. His radiant beauty and compassion captivate Alia immediately, though she wonders if his light can truly understand her shadows.

  • Perturabo: The grim and calculating lord of the Iron Warriors. Perturabo arrives with a no-nonsense attitude, but Alia appreciates his methodical mind, even if he seems distant.

Episode 2: First Impressions As the first cocktail party begins, Alia begins to mingle with the Primarchs. Fulgrim quickly swoops in, offering her a finely crafted piece of jewelry. His words drip with charm, but Alia sees through the surface-level flattery. She moves on to speak with Magnus, who talks of fate and the cost of power, both of which resonate deeply with her. There’s an unspoken understanding between them.

Sanguinius, with his kind words and serene demeanor, seems almost too good to be true for Alia. While she enjoys their conversation, she’s unsure if he could truly understand the weight she carries. Konrad Curze, however, piques her interest. He stands in the shadows, watching from a distance. When they finally talk, there's a mutual recognition of their shared burdens, though his extreme methods make her hesitate.

Horus, ever the master manipulator, makes his move toward the end of the night. His charm is undeniable, but Alia wonders if his motivations are entirely pure. In contrast, Roboute Guilliman provides a sense of stability, speaking of duty and structure, but Alia fears he might see her as something to be controlled.

Episode 4: The Group Date — Gladiatorial Combat For the first group date, Alia takes the Primarchs to a Fremen-style gladiatorial combat arena. They must prove their strength and leadership in front of her by battling each other, showcasing their tactical prowess.

  • Horus and Sanguinius dominate the physical combat, their grace and power on full display. Alia is particularly drawn to Sanguinius' ability to fight with elegance and compassion, while Horus's raw ambition gleams through.

  • Fulgrim, always the perfectionist, fights with artistry but seems more focused on how he looks than on winning.

  • Konrad Curze fights with savage ferocity, which both impresses and unnerves Alia.

  • Guilliman remains calm and analytical, directing others in battle like a commander, while Perturabo shows his tactical genius by laying intricate traps.

By the end of the date, Magnus and Lorgar hang back, unwilling to participate in such brutish displays. Magnus instead shares a quiet moment with Alia, discussing the nature of destiny and their shared connection to the Warp. Lorgar, ever the spiritual guide, warns Alia of the dangers that lie ahead — cryptic but heartfelt words that linger with her.

Episode 6: The One-on-One Dates Alia takes Konrad Curze on a one-on-one date to explore the dark alleys of Arrakeen. Their conversation dives into deep philosophical debates about justice, fear, and the burden of prescience. Konrad's raw honesty and brutal nature appeal to Alia, but she remains wary of his violent tendencies.

Later, Magnus and Alia share a private moment in the Hall of Oracles. They bond over their shared psychic abilities, discussing the price of seeing the future. Magnus confides in her the mistakes he's made in his past, and Alia finds herself deeply connected to his tragic arc.

Episode 8: The Bene Gesserit Manipulations Behind the scenes, Gaius Helen Mohiam and the Bene Gesserit make their presence known. They’ve placed subtle pressure on Alia to steer her choices toward a union that could strengthen the Imperium politically. Guilliman, with his strong sense of duty and organizational prowess, is seen as a desirable match for securing the Imperium's future, but Alia resists.

The Primarchs, especially Horus and Lorgar, notice the Bene Gesserit’s meddling. Lorgar, ever the prophet, warns Alia that she must choose not based on political gain but on her own heart.

Episode 10: The Final Rose Ceremony As the season nears its climax, only three Primarchs remain: Sanguinius, Magnus, and Konrad Curze.

  • Sanguinius represents light, hope, and compassion. He loves purely, but Alia wonders if he can truly understand her darkness.

  • Magnus offers Alia a soulmate-like connection. They share their psychic abilities and a deep understanding of one another’s burdens. But Magnus's past and the destruction tied to his powers give her pause.

  • Konrad Curze, dark and brooding, understands Alia in ways no one else can. He embraces his fate with grim determination, and Alia feels a strange comfort in his honesty about his flaws. But can she truly accept a future tied to such a dangerous and unstable individual?

In the final ceremony, Alia stands before the three men. After much deliberation, she chooses Magnus the Red. Their bond is unshakable, formed through shared visions and understanding of the heavy burden of fate. While Sanguinius offered light and Curze shared her darkness, it is with Magnus that Alia finds a reflection of herself — a partner who sees the universe as she does.

However, as Alia gives Magnus the final rose, the future remains uncertain. Both psychics foresee difficult times ahead, leaving the audience with a cliffhanger. What will their union mean for the Imperium and the Landsraad? Only time will tell.
