Reunion Island: Betrayal Edition

Episode 1: Welcome to the Island

  • Hosts Mark L. Walberg and Henry Rollins (who is already bewildered) welcome the contestants.

  • The contestants think they’re here for a romantic getaway, but soon realize they’ll be facing their greatest romantic and political betrayals.

  • Pairings Introduced:

    • Julius Caesar & Brutus – Former mentor and trusted friend turned backstabber (literally).

    • Napoleon & Talleyrand – The Emperor and the diplomat who played both sides.

    • Trotsky & Stalin – One fled to Mexico, the other sent an assassin.

    • Elizabeth I & Mary, Queen of Scots – Royal cousins with a history of, well, beheadings.

    • Richard Nixon & Henry Kissinger – “Not really an ex, but I feel like you wronged me, Henry.”

    • Benedict Arnold & George Washington – Awkward patriotic tension.

Episode 2: Icebreakers & Betrayal Trivia

  • The contestants participate in an icebreaker challenge where they must answer questions about their past betrayals.

  • Napoleon is furious when Talleyrand wins the first immunity challenge, a game called Diplomatic Dodgeball.

  • Trotsky insists that he and Stalin “talk things out” in therapy sessions, but Stalin keeps sharpening an icepick.

Episode 3: Love Triangles & Sabotage

  • The Exes Arrive: Just as people start forming alliances, surprise exes from their personal lives arrive.

    • Caesar’s actual ex Cleopatra shows up and Brutus looks nervous.

    • Trotsky’s widow Natalia Sedova is not happy to see Stalin.

    • Nixon’s former running mate Spiro Agnew arrives for no reason.

  • The Temptation Beach Party ends in disaster when Richard Nixon tries to bug the cabana.

Episode 4: Date Night Disaster

  • Henry Rollins, increasingly frustrated, is tasked with leading a meditation session. No one listens.

  • A romantic date night ends with a shocking betrayal—Stalin eliminates Trotsky from the game, citing “historical accuracy.”

  • Mark L. Walberg assures everyone that Trotsky will receive a commemorative ice sculpture in his honor.

Episode 5: Trust Falls & Knife Tossing

  • The contestants are forced into trust-building exercises.

    • Caesar repeatedly refuses to turn his back on Brutus.

    • Washington and Benedict Arnold are forced to do a three-legged race, which results in Arnold spraining his ankle and blaming the Continental Army.

    • Kissinger spends the entire day trying to convince Napoleon to invade Russia.

Episode 6: The “Forgiveness” Ceremony

  • In a twist, the contestants must publicly state if they forgive their ex-betrayer.

    • Brutus: “I do regret stabbing him.”

    • Caesar: “I’m not sure I believe you.”

    • Napoleon: “Talleyrand, I hate you, but I respect you.”

    • Mary, Queen of Scots: “Liz, I’m still mad about the beheading thing.”

  • The contestants celebrate their growth with a masquerade ball, which turns into chaos when Stalin spikes the punch.

Final Episode: Who Gets a Second Chance?

  • The remaining contestants must decide if they want to rekindle a relationship or walk away forever.

    • Elizabeth I chooses to rule alone. Mary sighs in defeat.

    • Napoleon proposes to himself.

    • Washington refuses to forgive Arnold, but invites him back to America “for the drama.”

    • Winner of the Season: Cleopatra, who somehow walks away with Caesar’s money and a free vacation.

Henry Rollins quits mid-episode, muttering about the state of reality television.
