Eat. Pray. Rage.

Title: Eat. Pray. Rage.

Genre: Existential Drama / Self-Discovery / Dark Comedy

Setting: The original plot of Eat. Pray. Love but with a twist. Angron, having a bizarre crisis of identity, has somehow ended up on Earth, concealed among humans. He embarks on a journey to rediscover himself by traveling to Italy, India, and Bali. His journey is equal parts existential crisis, accidental destruction, and fleeting moments of something resembling self-understanding.

Act 1: Eat (Italy)

Location: Rome, Italy. Angron’s first stop is in search of “the pleasure of food.” He's dressed in a barely concealing trench coat, hood pulled low, trying to blend in with the humans (but still standing about a foot taller than everyone else).

Scene 1: Piazza Navona Café

Angron (sitting at a table, towering over delicate chairs and tiny coffee cups) stares disdainfully at a plate of pasta with truffle sauce that’s been set before him.

Waiter: (nervously) Ah, sir, it’s a regional delicacy—very delicate in flavor.

Angron: (grunts, muttering) This better not be as tasteless as peace.

He takes a bite and is shocked to find himself enjoying the flavor. His eyes widen, a flicker of some ancient memory stirring.

Angron: (quietly, almost wistful) I remember a time… before the Butcher’s Nails…

Scene 2: Cooking Class

Despite his gruff exterior, Angron finds himself intrigued by the subtleties of Italian cooking. After all, there is an art in its balance, a blend of intensity and calm—both things he thought he’d lost. The class watches, stunned, as he crushes garlic with a war-hardened fist.

Angron: (to a horrified cooking instructor) You’re telling me… to simmer?

Instructor: (trembling) Yes… yes, sir.

Angron attempts simmering, his hands shaking slightly. He channels his suppressed rage into perfecting a bolognese sauce. Other students begin to whisper about “the scary guy with a hidden culinary talent.”

Act 2: Pray (India)

Location: An ashram in Rishikesh, India. Surrounded by monks and spiritual seekers, Angron attempts to “find inner peace,” though he's more interested in finding a way to stop the constant nagging voices of rage in his mind.

Scene 1: Meditation Class

Angron sits cross-legged, looking miserable but attempting to meditate. The guru instructs everyone to “breathe out your anger.” Angron almost laughs—he’s literally full of rage and warfare incarnate, not some desk worker stressed from emails.

Guru: (calmly) Anger is an illusion. Let it dissolve.

Angron: (under his breath) I am anger.

But he tries. His fists clench, his breathing labors, and just as he’s about to explode, something remarkable happens—a fleeting moment of calm. He gasps, as if shocked. The rage has slipped, if only for a second.

Scene 2: Late Night in the Ashram

Angron sits alone under the stars, struggling with his thoughts. For the first time, he remembers his life before the Butcher’s Nails—the father he once wanted to make proud, the brothers he fought for. He clenches his fists, the rage beginning to simmer again.

Angron: (whispering to himself) If I can break free of these chains… what else is there?

Act 3: Rage (Bali)

Location: A secluded island in Bali. Angron, feeling an unusual pull to explore, arrives at a healer’s house known for “spiritual transformations.” Unbeknownst to Angron, the healer has no idea what she’s in for.

Scene 1: Meeting the Healer

The healer, Nyoman, is a serene Balinese woman who believes in the power of natural healing and energy work.

Nyoman: (gazing up at him without fear) You are a being filled with great fire.

Angron: (smirking) Fire is putting it mildly.

Nyoman: Fire can burn or it can warm. Which do you choose?

Angron: (scoffs) I’ve only ever been taught to burn.

Nyoman invites him to try a ritual involving a pool of water and a crown of flowers, urging him to “release his fury” to the Earth. Angron finds himself humoring her. He steps into the water, breathing slowly.

Scene 2: The Ritual

For the first time, Angron allows himself to be vulnerable. He begins a strange, guttural chant, releasing memories of battle, betrayal, and lost brothers. The water bubbles around him, as if reacting to his energy. The other participants back away in awe and horror as Angron’s rage dissipates, if only for a moment.

Nyoman: (quietly) You are a man, not a weapon.

Angron: (after a long silence) I don’t know what I am without war.

Scene 3: A Day of Peace

Angron finds himself wandering the island, drinking in the colors of the sky, the warmth of the sand, the gentle sway of the trees. He meditates on the beach, feeling as though he’s become part of something larger than himself.

Angron: (looking up at the sunset) Peace… I thought it was a lie.

Final Scene: Returning Home

Location: Terra, the Imperial Palace. Angron, transformed in small but powerful ways, meets with the Emperor.

The Emperor: (surprised) You’ve returned… changed.

Angron: (his voice calmer, more resolute) I’ve seen a world beyond blood. I’ve tasted peace, if only for a moment. (pauses) But war is all I know.

The Emperor: (nodding) And yet, Angron, perhaps there is more in you than even you believe.

Angron stares off into the distance, the faintest glimmer of humanity—almost hope—lingering in his gaze.

Fade out.
